Founding Philosophy

ROTELUX was founded in 2008 by Leonard Hayes, a former precision-instrument engineer in Silicon Valley. Identifying critical flaws in conventional watch winders, he envisioned a device that would combine technological precision with human sensitivity.

What began in a small Pasadena studio soon evolved through collaboration with Swiss craftsmen, leading to a global presence in over 80 countries. Our founding belief—“Starting with Craftsmanship, Staying True to Purity”—continues to guide every design.
