Rotelux Featured at Macao 2026 Specialized World Stamp Exhibition

Macao SAR, China — July 6, 2026 — Rotelux, a designer and maker of premium watch-winding and timepiece presentation solutions, is pleased to announce that one of its luxury watch storage boxes has been honored with a Special Prize at the Macao 2026 Specialized World Stamp Exhibition (“MACAO 2026”), the first global-scale philatelic event ever staged in Macao. The recognition, presented to the contributing company by distinguished guests of the exhibition during the official prize-giving, was made on a ROTELUX branded presentation submitted by Sio Fu and listed in the official exhibition catalogue.

About MACAO 2026

The Macao 2026 Specialized World Stamp Exhibition, commonly shortened to “MACAO 2026,” is the first specialized world philatelic exhibition hosted in the Macao Special Administrative Region. The event ran from 26 June to 1 July 2026 at Cotai Expo Hall A of The Venetian Macao, in Taipa, Macao SAR, with daily opening hours from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (closing at 4:00 p.m. on the final day, 1 July).

The exhibition was co-organized by the Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau (CTT) and the Macau Philatelic Association, under the patronage of the Fédération Internationale de Philatélie (FIP) and the auspices of the Federation of Inter-Asian Philately (FIAP). FIP Consultant Mr. Abdulla Kurien and FIP Vice-President Mr. Prakob Chirakiti were joined on the advisory side by FIP leadership, while FIP itself was marking its centenary year, with the closing day, 1 July, designated as the official “FIP Centenary Day.”

Spanning roughly 1,500 exhibition frames of competitive and invited exhibits and around 50 international sales booths, MACAO 2026 brought together collectors, postal administrations, designers, and cultural institutions from across the philatelic world. Themed days ran throughout the week, including Postcard Day (27 June) and Youth Day (29 June), complemented by a curated program of seminars, workshops, and an Award Ceremony for youth philatelists of Macao. The Treasures Gallery and a thematic Bulletin and Exhibition Catalogue were also produced, the latter formally documenting all participating exhibits, prize recipients, and contributing partners.

Admission was free, and the exhibition’s stated purpose, in the words of the organizers, was to “strengthen international philatelic exchanges and cooperation, promote various philatelic activities, and develop friendships among participants,” while allowing visitors to “appreciate the exquisite of stamps” and to “experience the unique charm and vitality of Macao, where Chinese culture as the mainstream and coexistence of other cultures.”

Rotelux was represented at MACAO 2026 through a hand-finished luxury watch storage box featured in the official exhibition catalogue. The exterior of the case is marked with the official “Macao 2026 / MACAU 2026” exhibition designation, identifying it as a special presentation piece created for the event. Open the lid and the inner surface carries the ROTELUX maker’s mark, a quiet signature that anchors the object to the brand that designed and built it.

Conceived as a single-watch presentation case for a fine timepiece, the box was produced by Rotelux. It was listed in the official exhibition catalogue and made available for viewing alongside the show’s curated displays. Following the close of judging, the entry was awarded a Special Prize, presented by distinguished guests of the exhibition during the official prize-giving. As is customary in FIP-recognized exhibitions, such Special Prizes are reserved for entries that demonstrate notable merit beyond the standard competitive classes, whether in execution, presentation, or cultural relevance, and are conferred by invited patrons and dignitaries rather than by the regular jury.

The case draws directly on the design language of Rotelux’s core product family: silent, motor-driven watch winders that keep automatic timepieces running, paired with hand-finished cases in lacquered woods, polished metals, and tailored interiors that protect, present, and elevate the watch inside. For MACAU 2026, that language was condensed into a single-object format suited to a six-day philatelic showcase, with the exhibition’s own lettering on the outside and the maker’s mark reserved for the moment the lid is lifted.
