Girard-Perregaux adds another jewel to its ongoing partnership with automotive royalty Aston Martin. This collaboration continues to bridge fine watchmaking with the spirit of high-performance motoring — precise, refined, and built to endure.
The Laureato remains the base model for this special edition, but this time it comes in sleek black ceramic, a bold departure from the previous _Racing Green_ ceramic editions. Measuring 42 mm in diameter and just over 11 mm in thickness, the case retains its octagonal bezel and integrated bracelet, with alternating satin-brushed and polished finishes that play beautifully with the light. The ceramic construction offers exceptional scratch resistance, lightness on the wrist, and a smooth, luxurious feel.
The skeletonised dial reveals the in-house GP01800-2627 automatic movement, allowing an unobstructed view of the bridges, gear train, and finely decorated components. True to Aston Martin’s signature, the indices and hands carry Racing Green accents, treated with luminescent material for low-light visibility. A green-tinted central seconds hand adds another subtle nod to the brand’s automotive heritage.
The GP01800 calibre beats at 4 Hz, offering a 54-hour power reserve. Finishing techniques such as hand-polished bevels, satin brushing, and sandblasting highlight Girard-Perregaux’s craftsmanship. A green PVD 18-k pink gold oscillating weight is visible through the sapphire caseback, tying the watch’s mechanical heart to its design language.
Production is limited to just 88 pieces worldwide, underscoring its exclusivity. Priced at USD 54,300, this edition speaks equally to watch collectors and Aston Martin enthusiasts — a timepiece that blends performance, precision, and style in one cohesive statement.
The Laureato Skeleton Aston Martin Edition in black ceramic is more than a watch; it’s a celebration of shared values between two icons — engineering excellence, attention to detail, and a commitment to timeless design.
